We are looking for experienced individuals to provide as built drawings services across the USA and Ontario on freelance bases.

Job Description:

Ideally, you would need to travel to the job site, conduct site laser measurement, document as built drawings of existing building, and draw it on Autocad.

Job size could range between, 1300 S.F. to 250,000 S.F. or even bigger sometimes.

You should be very comfortable accessing vacant buildings or occupied. Also, you should be comfortable accessing units that have pet sometimes.

  • This is sub-contract work, when needed bases.
  • Available 9- 5 pm Monday to Friday.
  • This is NOT weekend job.

Qualifications and experience

Candidates must have at lease7 years of experience providing laser measurement and CAD as built drawing right on site for all types of buildings. If you are experienced with” ANY” of the bellow listed soft wares, then we would like to hear from you.

  • Archicad
  • Soft plan
  • Revit
  • Chief architect
You should be able to provide a typical floor plan, RCP, Exterior elevations, electrical and mechanical. Every job has different requirement.

Compensation:

  • Depends on the experience.
  • Travel expenses allowance will be provided.

Requirement:

  • Laptop with long run battery life / 7-8 hours.
  • The laptop size is between 11″- 13.5″ (we could supply. Security deposit may apply)
  • Laser measurement tool (with blue tooth connectivity preferred)
  • Tripod (we could supply)
  • Car to travel to sites
  • Professional appearance, and manner
  • Preference will be giving to those who has at least 7 years in buildings survey experience.
  • Preference will be giving to those who are able to travel to other states, however if you want to cover your state only, please indicate.
  • Valid driver license.
  • Valid credit cards, dept cards.

Education:

Architectural, Engineer, Interior design or Architectural CAD drafting relevant education.
A portfolio of as built work is required.

You will be asked to answer the following questions when submitting your resume and portfolio:

  • How long experience do you have in measuring buildings and creating as built drawings?
  • How do you measure, and document normally as built RCP Elements? Please be technical in your answers
  • How do you measure, and document normally as built exterior elevation plans? Please be technical in your answers
  • What was your approach and methodology in documenting as built plans? What technology have you used?
